Obituary for Pauline Retherford

Pauline Retherford, 93, of Zanesville, died at 4:40 PM Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice.

Pauline was born March 29, 1916 in Williamsport the daughter of the late Lyman and Erie B. Winter Jones. She was a 1934 graduate of Williamsport High School, a Zanesville area resident since 1954, a resident of Newark prior to Zanesville and a member of Euclid Ave. United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Carl E. Retherford Sr., son: Carl “Ed” (Andrea) Retherford Jr. of Nashport, daughter: Suzanne (Jim) Wycoff of Cincinnati, grandchildren: James (Stacie) Retherford, John (Jodi) Retherford and Karen (Adam) West, great grandchildren: Rebecca, Emma, Michael John, Daniel, Titus, Stephen and Luke, brother: Robert W. Jones of Newark, sister-in-law: Ruth Jones of Newark.

Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters: Ruth Rector, Mary Jones and Daisy Felumlee, brothers: Jesse and Lyman Jr. Jones.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM today Thursday March 11, 2010 and one hour prior to 11:00 AM services Friday March 12, 2010 at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. with Pastor Dale McCallister officiating. Committal service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
