Larry "The Professor" L. Miller, 67 of Zanesville passed away Sunday, March 05, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 19, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Clifford K. Miller and the late Barbara J. (Moorhead) Miller.
Larry was a Vietnam Veteran and a graduate of Ohio University, Athens. He retired from Meadowbrook High School after 25 plus years of teaching. He taught biology, botany, and anatomy. He was a lifelong educator and was willing to share his grasp of the sciences to anyone who was willing to listen.
In addition to his father, Larry left behind five very sad siblings: Jeffrey Miller (Judy), Robert Miller (Becky), Daniel Miller (Tina), Linda Barker (Jim), and Richard Miller (Tammy). Larry also had many nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara J. Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 South 7th Street.
