Susan J. Dick, 70 of Zanesville died at 6:50 PM Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at her home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 17, 1947 in Zanesville the daughter of Roy F. and Anna Elizabeth Wilson Stockdale.
Susan was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church She and had previously been employed with Good Samaritan & also Bethesda Hospital. She retired from the Muskingum County Job & Family Services after over 30 years of service. Later she was then employed with Home Instead. Susan was known for her volunteer work with several charities and helped many friends. She used her talents to help live & serve her Lord and her church family.
She is survived by her children; Larry (Julie) Nicholson of Blanchester; Jennifer Cameron and Stephanie Norman both of Zanesville; several grandchildren, Blair & Blake Cameron, Ian Sellers, Brody Norman and great grandson, Kruz Cameron. A brother, David (Beth) Stockdale of Dresden and a sister-in-law, Virginia Stockdale; and several nieces & nephews a many good friends who have stepped up and helped her through her my life. She would like to thank them all. Susan was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Julie Ann Nicholson; a brother, Robert Stockdale, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the New Hope Full Gospel on East Pike with Pastor Joseph A. DiVincenzo officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
