Susan Marie Miller , 68 of Zanesville died at 7:58 PM Sunday, March 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the Ohio State Medical Center.
She was born on Sunday, September 26, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Deacon Richard E. Hennessy and Theresa M. (Withers) Hennessy.
Susan was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church , and She was a homemaker who loved her family, kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed puzzles, was always up for a joke and a good laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" E. Miller Sr. whom she married Nov. 11, 1967, three children; Robby (Jennifer) Miller of Zanesville, Christy (Rob) Stephens of Spring Lake, NC and Kelly (B. J.) Fox of Zanesville; beloved grandchildren, Dylan Stephens, Hannah Stephens and Cooper Fox; Step-grandchildren; Kaela Stephens, Whitley Babcock, and Audrey McCormick; Step-greatgrandchildren, Chloe & Callie and Lacie; her 7 younger Siblings, Janet (Ron) Dorsey, Mark (Sue) Hennessy, Jerry (Jo) Hennessy, Stephen (Angie) Hennessy, Micah Hennessy, Joe (Teresa) Hennessy and Ann (Rick) Gooden and numerous nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, David Hennessy, Shawn Hennessy, Patrick Hennessy and James Hennessy.
Friends may call 3 PM to 5 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM with the Christian Vigil service at 7:45 PM on Thursday March 16, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society.
