Adrian M. Hoffer, 82 of Zanesville died at 2:36 PM Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Genesis Healthcare CCU.
He was born May 25, 1938 in Scioto County the son of John W. Hoffer and Margaret Perdue Hoffer.
Adrian was a U.S. Army Veteran. He graduated from Otway High School in the little town of Otway, Ohio. He married his life-long love of 61 years, Elizabeth Juanita Lowe. Adrian was an above average and avid fisherman and outdoorsman. His hobbies and leisure activities included, doing his own yard work, fishing, listening and dancing to bluegrass music, and watching westerns on television. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and overall hero to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lowe Hoffer; 3 sons, Mark A. and Denise M. Hoffer, Stephen L. Hoffer, Danny J. and Kathy L. Hoffer; two grandchildren, Jasper & Julian Hoffer; one brother Robert Hoffer and one Sister Ruthie Gilliespie, and his cat Mittens.
Adrian was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde E. Hoffer, Henry Hoffer, and two sisters Clarice Workman, and Helen Dixon.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 2:30 P.M. at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
