Angelo was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and has been an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church for over 60 years.  He was a devoted husband to his loving wife Evangeline for 66 years.  They shared a wonderful life and traveled extensively never missing a fantastic destination from Greece, to Ireland to Australia and the islands of Hawaii.  He carefully constructed a wall of love and support for his children and grandchildren, generously hosting weddings and baptisms and all birthdays and holidays along the way.  Angelo was a stalwart in the community of Zanesville.  He loved the Eagles and Country Club where a game of cards was his love language with his friends.  Angelo had the Melody Bar for years where he was known for his famous chopped sirloin and his unfailing kindness to whoever was hungry and in need. “ How much for the burger Angie? Whatever you have, that's the price today.”  He went on to own and operate the Three Guys Deli more recently known as the Winerak.  Angelo continued his successful career as National Sales Manager for Benco Pet foods and Drypers as well.  He had so many great friendships, because he was so well respected and loved and his handshake alone brokered all the deals. He was one in a million and always will be.
