Howard William Miller Sr., 98 of Zanesville died at 1:55 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Genesis Health Care ER following a short illness.
He was born on Wednesday, April 07, 1920 in Harriettsville, Ohio the son of Clarence A. Miller and Sylvana Nau Miller.
Howard was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He was a WWII Army Veteran and worked for Meadow Gold Dairy delivering ice cream. Howard was the longest living member of the Knights of Columbus council #505, where he visited daily and had his own seat at the bar. Most people knew his daily routine that included mass, a workout at the Fieldhouse, and a stop by Bob Evans for a bite to eat. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, garden and spending time with the ones he loved. Howard prided himself with teaching all his grandchildren how to fish and contributed his longevity to his love of peanuts and beer.

(Peter) Rapol of Nashport and daughter-in-law, Eve Miller of California; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Miller and a sister, Carol Garrett both of Florida.
