James William Blount, 68, of Senecaville passed away at 8:13 P.M. Monday, July 09, 2018 at the Genesis Hospital.
He was born on Monday, January 23, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of James Elwin and Geneva Drusilla Potts Blount.
James was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed sports, fishing, gardening and boating. He loved movies and music, especially the Beatles.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Blount; two sons, James (Melissa) Blount of Cincinnati and David (Sarah) Blount of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Shane, Brooklyn, Breeanna, Alyssa, Isaac, Ava, and Chelsea; three greatgrandchildren, Mason, Aubrey and Blakely; two sisters, Linda (Jerry) Carrelli of Loveland and Karen (Ben) Mosko of Grove City and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by a sister Carol Pittman and a grandchild Anderson.
No Services will be held.
Memorial contributions can be made in James’ name to the Leukemia Society.
