Message from Libbi in Indianapolis

I worked with Kathy in Cytology at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis when she was here. I'm so so sad to hear of her passing. She was one of the good ones, a great teacher, an excellent diagnostician, and an all around wonderful, caring person. She loved sharing our smelly Korean lunches, she shared great stories of her family and kids, she had such diverse and fascinating interests. She was a joy to work with and our patients were in good hands when she was here. I remember traveling to scientific meetings with her and the time we went clothes shopping at the mall so we'd look good for our workshop presentation! Too funny. I'm sad I didn't know she was sick but I know she is in a special universe of joy where she can marvel at all the wonders in front of her.
