Michael "Mike" Thomas Finan

March 18, 1948 ~ May 6, 2022 (age 74)


Michael "Mike" Thomas Finan, 74 of Zanesville died at 7:36 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 18, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Bernard Austin Finan and Dolores Angela Landry Finan.
Mike was catholic by faith, a Vietnam War Navy Veteran and retired from Stewart Glapat Company after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea "Ann" Bunker Finan whom he married December 4, 1970; two daughters, Kristine Finan and Nicole “Nikki” (David) Wells; grandchildren, Kolton (Shaina) Finan, Katarina Finan, Karlie Cruz, Isabella "Ellie" Wells and Nicholas Wells; two great grandchildren, Thomas Finan & Cole Finan and one on the way; a brother, Bernard Gregory "Greg" Finan; a sister, Ann (Jack) Hardwick; several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews; and the two pet cats, Tootsie & Izzy. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Scott and a brother, Lawrence "Butch" Patrick Finan.
A private memorial service with Military Honors will be held later.
Memorial contributions can be made to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society, St. Jude Hospital or to the Genesis Morison House Hospice.
