Philip A “PA” Nelson ,75 lifelong resident of Perry Twp. Passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017 while under the care of the Genesis Morrison House.

PA was a retired self-employed owner & operator of the PA Nelson Grading Company, he was an avid history buff and enjoyed reading all kinds of books about the pioneer era.

He survived by Daughters, Kelly Nelson, Kathie (Bob) Baier, Kristy (Mike) Dodson. Sons, Brett (Missy) Nelson, Bart Nelson. Grandchildren Robbie (Tawnya) Baier, Stacey Baier, Seth (Allie) Dodson, Heath Dodson, Austin Nelson, Wyatt Nelson, Jessica Shoemake (Daniel Spiker), 5 Great grandchildren, his brother Bob (Arlene) Nelson, and 3 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Howard & Elizabeth (Johnson) Nelson, his wife Judie (Hildebrand) Nelson, 1 sister Janice Porter, and 2 grandsons Justin & Dustin Baier.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contribution can be made to the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.
