William "Bill" A. Hill

William "Bill" A. Hill JR., 84, of Zanesville passed at 6:11 A.M. on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

He was born on Saturday, December 28, 1935 in Springfield, IL the son of the late William Hill SR. and Elma (Coleman) Hill.

William was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Reserves and he was a self Employed Automotive Mechanic. He enjoyed antiques, Bill was an antiques dealer. He loved cars and enjoyed to race them. His favorite place was New Orleans and was fitting because of his love for Jazz music.

He is survived by his wife Nidza M. Solis Hill; three children, Lance (Alisa) Hill, Carolyn (Herbert) Earley and Desiree Gomez; five grandchildren, Ned, Zavon, Khia, Khloe, and Jeffrey; Seven great grandchildren; and a sister Susan Remizowski.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Jane Hill.

Per Bill’s wishes, a cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
