Jim was a great man. He was more Dad than Grandpa. He taught me more than I'll ever remember. Here are just a few: how to hunt, fish, shoot, ride a motorcycle, drive a truck, to use tools and fix just about anything, and how to persevere in life and never give up. I'll never forget our bike rides after he retired, going dirt bike riding at Perry with him on that old CZ motorcycle, and one of the most influential days of my life; when he took me for a ride on that 72' CZ enduro bike up to Riverside park in Zanesville. I am thankful that someone took a picture. I remember that day clearly. Grandma gave him a ton of crap for that one. Not only for taking me for a ride on the tank of an enduro bike across town, but also for the bottom of my (new) sneakers melting to the two stroke exhaust pipe. That day changed my life. Thank you Grandpa. I love and miss you

SAD TO LEARN OF MY OLD FRIENDS DEATH. I LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT THE OIL PATCH FROM THIS MAN. JIM ALWAYS HAD A VAST KNOWLEDGE OF THE UNDER GROUND FORMATIONS FROM WHERE PETROLEUM IS FOUND. IT WAS MY PLEASURE KNOWING AN WORKING FOR HIM. PLEASE EXCEPT MINE & DI'S CONDOLENCES .
